Cancellation and Refund Policy
This policy explains when a booking can be cancelled and when payments become non-refundable.
Last updated: 17 July 2026
Before work begins
If you cancel a confirmed booking before work begins, you may request a full refund of the service fee paid for that booking.
When work begins
Work begins when task-specific production starts. This can include research, preparation, setup, writing, generation, design, editing, testing, or other activity carried out specifically for the agreed project.
After work begins
Once work begins, the booking is non-refundable. This applies even when the client changes direction, no longer needs the work, supplies incomplete information, delays feedback, or decides not to use the resulting deliverables.
Third-party tools and project costs
Approved costs for video generation, premium AI tools, stock assets, specialist software, hosting, publishing, or other external services are separate from the hourly service fee. Once an approved third-party cost has been purchased, used, or committed, it is non-refundable unless the relevant provider issues a refund.
If the service cannot proceed
If Hourly AI Specialist cancels before work begins or cannot provide the confirmed service, the affected service fee will be refunded. If a technical or third-party issue affects only part of a project after work begins, the situation will be reviewed fairly based on completed work, committed costs, and any deliverable that can still be provided.
How refunds are returned
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible. Processing times are controlled by the payment provider or bank and may vary. Payment-provider or currency-conversion fees may not be recoverable where the provider does not return them.
Requesting a cancellation
Send the booking details through the contact form as soon as possible. A cancellation is effective when it is received, not when it is sent.
